The corporate newspaper of Arkhangelsk PPM is once again the winner of the National Competition of Corporate Mass Media "Serebryanye niti" in four categories. The ceremony took place on 13 December in Moscow, in the framework of the National Conference.

The prepared by the editorial board of "Bumazhnik" exclusive historical book "The Birth of the Giant" ("Rozhdenie giganta") was ranked first in the category "The Best Corporate Book/Booklet".

The newspaper of APPM is among the winners in the following categories: "High Level of Corporate Tasks Solving ", "The Most Creative Section in the Corporate Media" and "The best Photos in the Corporate Media". The last two awards were given to "Bumazhnik" for its special project – "Modern! Powerful! Our!".

• The newspaper "Bumazhnik" is the oldest newspaper in the pulp-and-paper industry of the Russian Federation.

In the process of the mill construction, before the formal appearance of the same-name corporate newspaper, there had been its prototypes – since June 1936 (4 years prior to the launch of the mill), the newspaper of Arkhbumstroy "Za stakhanovskuyu stroiku", and since the beginning of 1940s, "Informatsionnyy listok" that reported the latest front-line events to the workers and people of the residential area.

The first issue of the newspaper "Bumazhnik" was published on 7 April 1946.

• The competition "Serebryanye niti" is recognized by the business and media communities. It is the essential part of the media scene today.

According to the organizers, the main goals of the competition are the growing importance of the corporate resources in the Russian media scene, establishment of the professional venue where all the participants of the mass and business communications can take part and which allows the enterprises and organizations to fulfil the potential of different information assets, and support of the most successful regional corporate publications, websites and portals, radio and TV studios.
